A New Resource for Healthcare Professionals
On behalf of the MDS Foundation, I would like to welcome you to the MDS Foundation Resource Center. This educational center is designed to provide clinicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals with a comprehensive source for the latest information and educational programming on the Myelodysplastic Syndromes. While patients and non-healthcare professionals are welcome to review the material, it is important to remember that the information presented here is done so primarily with the healthcare professional in mind.
One of the prime features of The MDS Foundation Resource Center is the new eight-segment collection. To enhance the presentation and comprehension of this important material, it is presented in various media formats, including video and audio lectures, review articles, slides, and exciting patient case simulation presentations.
Much of the content in the Resource Center has been reviewed and is accredited for continuing medical education. To find out which programs are available for CME, click on the CME Center link above for a complete list of CME programs available. To participate in a CME program, you must first register. In addition to acquiring continuing education credits, the benefits of registration include automatic tracking of credits acquired in the Resource Center, automatic book marking within partially viewed programs and, if you so choose, e-mail notification of new educational programs as they become available.
In the Conference section you will have the opportunity to view materials presented at past MDS conferences or register for upcoming MDS-related symposia.
We invite you to take full advantage of this educational resource, notify us of any questions or comments you may have, and check in often as we endeavor to assemble the most comprehensive and up-to-date information about this important disease.
Sincerely,
John M. Bennett, M.D.
Chairman,
The MDS Foundation, Inc.
